We commissioned our site with the following aims in mind.

4. Stihl - Stihl have a policy which restricts the sale of any Stihl products on-line. However, Radmore & Tucker are able to supply the South West region by means of our own delivery vans or customers are able to collect their items from our shop in Exeter, Devon. Please see the Stihl statement below.

5. Delivery Information (not Stihl) - We offer free delivery to residents of the U.K. mainland for all order over £150.00 . Orders below that amount are charged £5.95 delivery charge, If you wish your machine to be delivered to an address in the scottish Highlands postcodes include IV3-40, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA20-40, PH19-40 and PH60 then delivery will be charged at £28.00. Delivery is normally the next working day for orders received before 2.00pm. In the event that your order will take longer than this, we will contact you to notify you of the expected delivery date, and you will have the option to cancel if you wish.

6. Returns Policy - If you are not delighted with your purchase you have the right to cancel within seven days of your purchase, or seven days from the receipt of the goods (whichever is longer). If you cancel your order you will have your payment refunded (minus any carriage costs), provided you return your goods in perfect condition, with all packaging and instructions, to us at the address shown on the contact us page. Before returning any goods please phone our office for a returns number.

When an Authorised STIHL Dealer sells a chainsaw or any other STIHL product we expect them to have personal contact with each customer. This ensures that the correct product is selected for their particular requirement, an appropriate handover is carried out to provide awareness of safety precautions and the correct use of each tool, at an appropriate level to suit each individual STIHL customer."

Radmore & Tucker’s Policy

As an authorised STIHL dealer, we fully understand STIHL’s stance with regard to remote selling of their products. With that in mind, we will only sell STIHL products where their criteria is adhered to.

Fortunately, because of our substantial distribution network to the trade, we cover a significant part of the South of the UK with our own delivery vehicles. This enables us to prepare, test and hand over product personally to customers within selected post code areas, if required.

To this end, if you are in a selected post code area and wish to purchase a STIHL product, your enquiry will be passed to one of our sales administrators who will contact you to discuss your purchase.


Change to Husqvarna Policy regarding internet sales

Husqvarna have recently introduced a similar policy to Stihl regarding Internet sales.

As of 18th August 2009 the following obligations must be adeared to by all Husqvarna dealers:

a) Once Purchased by a customer all products must be fully assembled. pre-delivery inspected and all safety functions tested.

b) All products must be handed over to the customer by the dealer in a ready to use condition, with all relevant documentation and any tools or accessories that should be supplied included. The dealer must provide guidance on the proper use, safe handling and care of the products in accordance with the product operator's handbook/manual.

c) The customer must be made aware of the registration requirements for and the conditions that attach to the enhanced warranty. The customer must either agree to allow the dealer to submit on their behalf, or take responsibility for submission of it themselves. Failure to comply with the registration requirements for and the conditions that attach to the enhanced warranty will result in basic consumer statutory rights being applied in lieu of the enhanced warranty.

Again fortunatly because of our extensive delivery network covering most of the south of England, we are still able to inspect supply and hand over to you the customer Husqvarna Products inline with their new policy
