Slight delay on delivery but worth the wait and I was kept informed. I will never buy a 2 stroke again. Started 2nd pull out of the box and every time since. Quiet, powerful and well balanced in the harness. I just swing it and watch everything fall including stuff it probably wasn’t designed for. Only just got it so can’t comment on durability but looks and feels well made. Seems good on fuel. Highly recommended.

Excellent brushcutter, very economical on fuel and 4 stroke makes less noise that it’s 2 stroke counterparts..

I have used Stihl trimmer/brush-cutters for many years as part of a volunteer group maintaining public footpaths around our village. Having now moved to a house with a very large garden I had need for a strimmer/Brush-cutter to handle long grass and scrub. Having spent hours trawling the internet reading many reviews, I decided to purchase the 4-stroke Makita. It was certainly the best choice for me. The harness is fully adjustable, the engine starts easily and it is very quiet compared to the 2-stroke machines. (I still wear ear protection). Fuel consumption is lower that a 2 stroke.
This is a quality machine and much better value than the Stihl.
