Martin (verified owner) –
A pleasure to use, has enough power to get through most things, was great for clearing brambles, much quicker at cutting grass than any model I owned previously.
Well built quality unit, has a proper paper element air filter. The ‘adjustable’ handle does not work, the clamp for this binds so you have to unscrew bolt completely, managed to bend this bolt straight away as is far too delicate for the job.
Vibrations are slightly more than expected but far less than any other brushcutter I have used thanks to the damping unit (this is a rubber mount inside the long plastic sheaf on the main shaft. You can use this machine all day without worrying about vibration on your hands.
Harness supplied is good quality and very comfortable.
Makita blades have poor reviews. Instead I have bought a selection of Oregon one for all blade which are great.
