    I bought this particular filing set from Husqvarna in case I’m needing to sharpen my C85 chains on the go rather than in the workshop. The hard (but comfortable) plastic handle allows the file to be securely stored inside Husqvarna’s Power box or in the top of their Combi-Can.

    I have my files inside my Power box (c/w 28” scabbard) alongside my chainsaw and ended up ordering an additional handle so both round and flat files are securely ‘snapped’ into position inside the box. Unfortunately, the guide doesn’t snap into its slot in the box as it’s about 2mm longer than a .325 chain guide.

    The bare files fit into the Combi-can regardless of whether a handle is attached but, as they’re not protected from the elements, best to only use that carrying method on dry days.

    A good quality, basic filing set that’s ideal for everyday use in the field
