The Makita M9001 MT Series 230mm Angle Grinder is powered by a 2,000 watt motor to deliver up to 6,600 rpm for faster grinding. It has an anti-dust structure, with spiral bevel gears for smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy. It features a shaft lock for easy wheel changes and a wheel cover to protect the user from accidental scattering of broken wheel or workpiece, with minimal wheel cover movement. Its large trigger switch for easy operation with machined bevel gears, provide durability and longer service life of the grinder and it has rear handle with anti-slip surface for more control. The M9001 has a three position side grip for user convenience and soft grip to provide the user with more control and reduced fatigue.

    Does what it says on the tin.
    Good solid machine.
    I struggle to see the difference between the blue range and the Mt range, except the price of course.
    If they did them in 110v it would be even better, but that will never happen!!
