This Husqvarna Filling Spout is very poor. It works very well for about 3 months, then starts sticking. The plastic swells inside & it jambs half open, spilling fuel. (You can swap it with the oil side every couple of months which extends it’s useful life time.
The rubber seal between the can & the spout is very soft & breaks up after 4 or 5 times of removing & refitting. Fitting a decent “O” ring is the best solution. All in all it’s a very poor product. I have taken this up with Husqvarna, sadly the Husqvarna rep was not interested whatsoever.
A better bet is the Husqvarna Green (Old) ones. (Radmore and Tucker’s website). These last for years.
