    I bought this for my HLA 26 hedgetrimmer and it is very helpful in keeping the battery away from the ground, and it also provides a useful extra handle for occasional use. But I have to question why this wasn’t included as standard with the tool in the first place. I guess the Stihl designers have their reasons, but it can’t be an afterthought as the fixing points have already been built into the hedgetrimmer’s battery housing. Very odd, but I do find it useful and recommend that you get one if you want to protect the battery.
