The Okatsune 104 bypass secateurs are particularly suitable for the large hand with their length of 210 mm (10 mm longer than model 103). The blades of these razor-sharp secateurs are forged from the finest Japanese steel (the same steel from which the Katana sword of the Samurai are made), and enable you to effortlessly cut through branches up to 25 mm, such as shrubs, roses, fruit trees, and creepers.

    There is the 103 which is for small hands and 104 which I purchased is what I call a standard size, as an adult female they are the right size for me.. small must be very small!.
    These secateurs are not cheap but worth every penny. Positive and simple to cut up to small branches about 2cms thick and an easy latch for keeping closed its easy to use.
    I have used for several days about 4-5 hours each time. I have had to clean them as the sap builds up. But I’m talking heavy work. Cleaning is quick and easy and then easy to cut again.
    I would highly recommend them but as I say used for several days only.
    Be aware the price the website shows does not include VAT I didn’t find out until I was at the paying stage. Did put me off a bit but still bought them.
