The PocketBoy 170 is a compact MIRAI-ME folding saw with 8 teeth per 30mm. Suitable for all pruning tasks, as well as woodworking. The strong, comfortable rubber handle is easy to grip and the mirror polished blade is adjustable to two angles. Carry case included. Made in Japan.

Non-Set Teeth
The blade is taper ground to reduce resistance giving smoother, easier, faster cutting performance

Mirai-Me
The blade has 4 cutting angles along its length. It leaves a smooth surface after cutting and can rip-cut, cross-cut and slant-cut.

Impulse-Hardening
The teeth of the blades are heated instantly and hardened, and stay sharp about three times longer than non-hardened teeth.

Hard Chrome Plating
Hard chrome plating produces an exceedingly high durable surface, and is resistant to rust and the effects of resin.

Rubber Handle
The rubber handle is comfortable to hold, reduces vibration and offers superior grip when hands are wet or cold when wearing gloves.

    I’ve been after one of these for a while, the price was very good, the item arrived very quickly, and the quality of the saw is outstanding. I teach bushcraft and outdoor survival and have tried lots of saws in the past, including some of the big names that are much cheaper. This saw is quite literally, a ‘cut above’ the competition. It cuts well, locks securely, and even comes in a protective case, which is very useful. Ten out of ten all round, thanks!
