The Husqvarna 543RS is a professional, heavy-duty petrol brush cutter built for high performance. It is ideal for frequent use and provides a combination of raw engine power and fuel efficiency thanks to its X-Torq® engine design which increases torque over a wider r.p.m. range to deliver maximum cutting power. Fitted with a fuel pump, engineered for trouble-free starting, and an efficient air filter, that saves on engine wear, the 543RS is easy to use and economical to maintain.
A robust clutch and high-torque bevel gear enables the use of long cords and a large diameter cutting knife, angled parallel to the ground, to optimise cutting performance. The Tap ‘n Go quick line-feed mechanism and heavy-duty twin line cutting design allow the brush cutter to power through thick grass and weeds swiftly and with ease. It comes complete with a standard double harness for lighter brush cutters, combi-guard 535LS mfl, T35 trimmer head and 4-tooth grass blade cutting attachment making it great value for money.
The 543RS is both reliable and versatile. It is also ergonomically designed and balanced to ensure ease of handling. It has an adjustable handlebar fitted with LowVib® anti-vibration dampeners that make it suitable for use over prolonged periods without discomfort. An extra-long shaft provides good reach while a magnetic, locking pin holder enables quick and safe changing of attachments.

Excellent machine, really good reach with the long shaft. I purchased this one to replace my Husqvarna 345r & all the attachments fit. I like the personal attention from Radmore & Tucker & bought a hedge cutter previously. I can not comment on the harness as using my 345 one.
