    We purchased two Husqvarna 545rx strimmers, very speedy next day delivery , first class piece of machinery

    We cut around 6 Ha a year of reedbed and Fen with these machines annually so I know what I am talking about.
    The power to weight for heavy end work is just about right. the machines are overall reliable and easy to use.

    Two small adjustments that would bring it up to five star.

    1 the grease bung on the angle drive head always gets stripped over time, the nut is too slack in a 13mm spanner and really needs a half inch which is a bit odd. A square head and a proper tool would fix this.

    2 The air intake is right at the bottom of the case meaning if the machine is put down on even an inch of water it will suck in and destroy the engine.

    Overall the best in its catagory on the market at the moment in my opinion.
