The Stihl AK 30 S battery is compatible with the tools in the STIHL AK cordless power system. It is a lightweight 36 V Lithium-Ion battery offering the longest run-time in the COMPACT Cordless range. It features a charge level indicator on the top with four LEDs so you can see how much charge you have left quickly and easily, at the touch of a button.

Improving on the previous generation AK 30, this improved ‘S’ version features a new current/timer counter feature. The machine and the battery constantly exchange information about the performance demand of the machine and the available performance of the battery. The performance potential of the battery is improved, increasing performance peaks during demanding use.

LED CHARGE LEVEL INDICATOR
There are four LEDs on the battery to indicate the charge level of the battery. Simply press the button to see how much battery life is left.

INTELLIGENT ELECTRONICS

    Spent hours trying to decide AP or AK range, but in the end decided AK would be worth trying as the AP range seems a bit overkill for my needs!
    I got 3 of the AK30s hoping can run a mower, strimmer and blower around the gardens. Not strimmed yet, just done 1st little mow of the year and a good blow around, and only used 2 of 4 bars on the 1st battery. I made the right choice going AK not AP.
    This year i will be slowly replacing all my dirty old petrol tools with nice fresh shiny battery ones, and have full faith these little fellas will make my life so much easier!

    Previously bought a Stihl battery electric mower from Radmore & Tucker, with one AK30S. Lawn size needs a 2nd battery, so went back to R& M. Product is great so far, and R& T service is spot on, and was best price I could find.

    Well worth paying the extra for the AK30S battery and it definitely helps get those longer jobs done without having to stop and change the battery, if you have another one that is, otherwise the job stops until your one battery is fully charged again.
    Radmore & Tucker had the AK30S at a great price so it was too good to miss and I’m so pleased I did as I mistakenly put my AK20 in my pressure washer and it went flat before I’d finished the job, fortunately I had the AK30S already charged which allowed me to complete the job in hand and have some power left over.

    You can expect a battery. It holds electricity and can be recharged in the charger. It looks like a plastic brick and costs a fortune, though less of a fortune from R&T. Whoop de Dooo.
