Stihl RMI 522 C iMOW® Robotic Lawnmower

The Stihl RMI 522 C iMOW® robotic mower is the ideal choice for you if you have a medium-sized garden and want to keep your lawn in check with no effort. This automatic mower is easy to use and also helps to improve your lawn whilst mowing it. This is thanks to the mulching blade, which shreds the grass into small piece and drops it back on to the lawn as a natural fertislier. This also means the added bonus of not having to empty the grass box either.

You can programme the RMI 522 C to mow when you want it to but it has a dynamic mowing plan so it can adjust itself if for any reason it cannot mow on certain days. So if it rains one day, it will make up the mowing time on the next day, which means your lawn never looks unkempt or overgrown. The iMOW® is also designed to mow your lawn efficiently in the shortest time possible.

The new direct drive home function allows the iMOW® to drive directly to the dock instead of following the perimeter wire home. This reduces the wheel marks around the lawns perimeter, and allows the iMOW® to travel efficiently around the garden. Direct drive home works best in lawns with fewer obstacles and mowing areas – if you’re unsure, we recommend consulting your nearest STIHL iMOW® dealer for more information.

The RMI 522 C can be used to mow lawn areas up to 2,100m² and gradients up to 40%. Compatible with the iMOW® app, the settings on the RMI 522 C robotic mower can be easily adjusted on your smartphone or tablet. You can quickly change the mowing plan, read status messages and pause or start new mowing operations wherever you are.

Please note that this does not include everything you need to install your iMOW®. You will also need an installation kit, which includes perimeter wire, fixing pins and wire clips.

Dynamic mowing plan
When you set up the mowing plan of your iMOW® robotic mower, you can set the activie timeframe during which the iMOW® can operate. Within these windows of active time, the automatic lawn mower will work out the best times to mow for an optimum result. If it has to stop mowing because of rain, it automatically catches up later within the specified time window. You can set the mowing plan via the control panel, or via the iMOW® app.

App control
The iMOW® app can be used to easily update or change any settings on your RMI 522 C whether at home or on the move. This is really useful if you want to send the iMOW® out to mow earlier than scheduled, or delay it till later so you can enjoy using your garden instead. It also works in conjunction with online weather forecasts to make sure that the iMOW® only mows in suitable weather conditions.

Movable hood
The iMOW® has a movable hood with sensors which helps to protect the robotic mower from obstacles. If the iMOW® robotic mower comes up against an obstacle, such as a garden chair left on the lawn, during automatic mowing, the integrated sensors detect contact with the object and changes direction.

Smooth-running wheels
The smooth-running wheels have a traction pattern that helps the STIHL iMOW® robotic mower move with precision, even on hilly areas. The RMI 522 can cope with gradients of up to 40%. The wheels of the automatic lawn mower are also self-cleaning.

Adaptive slope speed
The adaptive slope speed technology means that the STIHL iMOW® robotic mower can adapt its speed on uneven terrain. The mower has an integrated tilt sensor which continuously analyses the position and adjusts its speed as necessary.

Direct drive home
