The Stihl RM 253 T Self-Propelled Petrol Lawnmower features the largest cutting width (51cm/20″) of the 2 series range, perfect for lawns up to 1800m2. The single-speed drive allows you to mow the lawn without having to push the mower, great for steeper lawns. The central cutting height adjustment features seven settings, from 25 to 75 mm ensuring you lawn is cut to the height you require. The powerful ReadyStart engine is nice and easy to start and offers plenty of power to efficiently mow your lawn. The RM253T comes with a 5 year extended domestic warranty (subject to registration and annual servicing).

The RM 253 T from STIHL is a petrol single-speed lawn mower designed for entry-level users looking to cut small to medium-sized lawns at home. Part of a new range of 2 Series petrol lawn mowers, it’s fitted with innovative key features that make this the ideal choice for home gardeners.
This lawn mower is built with a sheet steel deck, a 51 cm cutting width and single point height adjustment that is adjustable between 20 – 100 mm. The EVC 205 engine is easy to start too meaning you can effortlessly get to work. And on a full tank of fuel the RM 253 T can mow lawns up to 1800 m2.
The RM 253 T has 4 different ways of mowing. No additional tools are required but we do recommend you refer to the owner’s manual before working. You can either:
- Cut & collect with the grass catcher box fitted
- Cut & drop by removing the grass catcher box
- Side discharge with the flap that is integrated into the deck
- Mulch with the multi-blade and mulching attachment
The comfort mono-handlebar allows easy access to the grass catcher box, making it easier to remove and empty when it’s full – plus, thanks to the fill level indicator on the grass catcher box you’ll know exactly when to empty the box too! The 55-litre grass catcher box is ergonomically designed and easy to fully open for fast emptying. The sturdy mono-handlebar is height adjustable and foldable for compact storage after use.
