My old machine had come to the end of its life after 25 years and was looking for a new pressure washer, focused on Sthil, Stiga, Nilfisk and Karcher. My priority was long lasting build quality, decent power output coupled with a strong volume of water to help cleaning. A local supplier should I encounter issues later. Not particularly drawn to anything that would compromise the wish list. This machine has fitted the bill. Reassuringly well built with brass pump head and fittings, consoles to vary the pressure has helped a lot when cleaning less durable surfaces. Bought an additional steel extension hose with it which has been brilliant. The downside is that this machine is really heavy perhaps reflecting the strong build quality of the internal parts, but something to consider if you need to move it a lot. The wheels are good, but I don’t tend to move it once it is set up hence the excellent extension hose. I use it with a patio cleaning tool which is also excellent. Pleased with the purchase should last a long time with excellent cleaning abilities and sensibly priced accessories. Radmore and Tucker gave me an excellent price. I am local to them so this machine fulfills all my requirements.

Had previously 2 top of the range Karcher k7s pressure washers but after the second one gave up I thought it’s time for a change. Build quality on the k7 is poor in comparison to the Stihl. The Stihl RE 150 plus is far superior. Build quality is top notch especially compared to the Karcher, there just is no competition. The wheels are nice and sturdy and all the plastic isn’t flimsy at all.
Telescopic handle is good for transporting. You can push it down for space saving storage when not needed and it has an integrated handle at the bottom if you need to lift it which is nice and sturdy.
It’s heavy, but if you want quality then you have to pay the price with the extra weight. All the attachments for it are nicely stowed away on board and stay there as with the karcher they would fall off.
The electric cable is nice and thick too and can be neatly wound up on the side of the machine, also the plug has a little clip that it pushes into so it stays there, when you need the cable again you just turn a clip and it all removes quickly, no more unwinding.
High pressure hose easily winds up with the handle and the handle folds in, everything is thought of which I like.
The 2 Attachments, dirst blaster and fan are both neatly kept in a storage flap on the machine, there is even a pin in there to unblock any of the jets that might get blocked. Also the fan attachment can be turned from high to low so it comes out as a rinse a setting or varible fan pressure, nice.
It’s nice to have a pressure gauge on the machine so you know what pressure you are using. You can even turn the pressure down on the machine if you need to do some delicate work.
There’s an integrated cleaning tank which you can take out and fill with a cleaning solution, I haven’t used it yet but it’s nice to be able to use your own solution rather than the manufacturer’s own brand like the karcher.
I also purchased the rotary wash brush, Ra 110 surface cleaner, spray lance extension and the surface wash brush which I would recommend them all after using them.
It’s a powerful machine and I’m really happy with my purchase. Outstanding quality and very well thought out. You won’t be disappointed.
