The Stihl AX 15 P Forestry Axe has a glass fibre-reinforced polyamide handle and is particularly light, robust, durable and weather-proof. The axe head is made of C60 coated steel with excellent sliding properties and is inseparably connected to the handle. The surface of the lower part of the handle is non-slip coated and therefore ensures a good grip when working.

The centre of gravity close to the axe head provides optimum weight distribution and makes for strength saving work. Highly suitable for delimbing and felling small trees, highly suitable for light to medium splitting work.

    For me, this is an amazing axe. I’m only 5’1″ tall so it’s the perfect size and weight for me to “swing” to chop logs. It’s sharp and effective. Comes with a safety clamp for storage

    Fantastic axe – and great price on this website. I was worried it might be a bit short and the semi-hollow handle was a bit disconcerting – would it strong enough. But the balance is great and the axe head brilliantly shaped. It splits better than any previous axe (many) I’ve owned, and because of the shaping, doesn’t get stuck when splitting, and yet still perfect for de-limbing.
