Very new to me so as yet largely untested. First impressions have been its typical husqy – well built and robust. Quite chunky to handle and unwieldy at full stretch. Not sure I ll want to use it all day! Radmore & Tucker are good firm I ve used before. This time delay in sending item ( supplier issues) meant they could nt match their online delivery timescales which was inconvenient.

Further to previous review have now used machine trimming high yew topiary and other hedges. Found it a bit of a lumpy beast but did the job. Balance in the hand not great as motor and cutting head one end and battery the other. Shoulder sling crucial. Easiest to use vertically. Unwieldy horizontally. Series arm muscle ache after mornings work.

I purchased a Husquvarna extended hedge trimmer and used Radmore Tucker for the first time. The price was the best I could find on the internet and the service just outstanding. I’m very happy with the hedge cutter except for the battery which works well but the battery charge indicator button does not work at all so I can’t check the status of the battery. I have rung R&T but no one seems to want to help. I have been told to go and see a local dealer. Or send it back at my expense. Not the best customer service.

Have waited a while to review the extendable Husqvarna hedge cutter I brought from Radmore and Tucker. It’s the first time I have gone for battery operated garden machinery. Gardening is my profession so I was intrigued to see how well it cut and how long the batteries lasted. Have to say that it is all beyond my expectations!
Yes the machine is a little top heavy, but that is just the nature of the beast with the weight being on the cutting head. My only slight gripe is that I would ideally like smaller increments on adjusting the tilt of the head, but that is being very nit picking.
It’s the second or third time I have brought from Radmore and Tucker and as always I cant fault service or delivery and of course the price.
Would highly recommend both the company and the tool.

Second purchase from Radmore and Tucker and once again amazing service, great price and a great piece of kit. Ordered 10am Tuesday, arrived 12pm Wednesday! 26 hours from ordering to receiving, that’s better than that Amazon concern! Had bought a Husqvarna jet washer previously, well pleased with that so went for the same brand pole trimmer. Exactly as expected great design, extremely well built, quiet and powerful. Much better balanced than my previous model. It’s sturdy, I did not expect it to be featherlight but no pole trimmers are and you soon get used to handling it with the supplied harness and am enjoying the workout! I would wholly recommend this supplier and this brand.

Better than I had hoped it would be. Telescopic so it saves having to add-in extension shafts. Sufficient power to cut quite thick stems. If used on ‘eco’ mode, it lasts for several hours of trimming without recharging.
However, it is heavy. OK if you are just using it vertically as it is quite well balanced but if you are using it horizontally, especially extended, you need to be quite ‘robust’.
