Fast delivery.
Excellent helmet. Lightweight, easily adjusted to comfotable fit. Visor swings down and up easily without moving helmet on head and stays up until required. Ear defenders swing outwards and stay out but snap back into position to be comfortably effective. Ventilation appears to work but not tested in hot weather. I can only say it didn’t not work.

A really good helmet, but i got this for someone else, as i personally prefer the Stihl equivalent, the Advance X – Vent.
I had a Husqvarna Technical Forest helmet though, so i can offer a comparison.
Both helmets are comfortable, with spring steel visors offering 80% visibility, adjustable headbands with a ratchet so the helmet fits perfectly, and ventilation holes.
The Husqvarna Technical helmet wins as regards the interior cradle, fixed at 6 points. The Stihl Advance X – Vent is now capable of being fixed at 6 points, but is not set up so out of the box. I only know because i used to have the four point cradle, which was rubbish, and replaced it with the new 6 point headband when it broke. Having seen a new helmet come out of the box i know they are not set up right, still fixed at 4 points, but with the ability to fit at 6, as long as you know this and do it yourself.
The Stihl Advance X – Vent wins on the ear defenders. An SNR rating of 29 compared to Husqvarna’s 26. That’s why you see so many people with Husqvarna helmets sporting the grey MSA ear defenders, SNR 31. Extra cost though. Plus, on my old Husqvarna Technical helmet, the left hand ear defender would just drop off into the bushes as i was ready to start cutting. Really annoying.
A colleague had a similar problem with the arms holding the visor popping out all the time.
The Stihl Advance X – Vent also wins on price. Its cheaper. The Husqvarna Technical helmet comes with a wet weather neck guard, but it is like a soggy rag stuck to your neck when it pours. The Stihl one is waterproof, but you do have to buy it separately. It is still cheaper though adding that in.
The Husqvarna Technical helmet does have a fancy UV guide on the back, but if you are using this for felling you will end up chucking this helmet, as with all, 4-5 years after first use, making the UV guide pointless. If used only for brushcutting or hedge trimming say, then maybe it has some worth.
Great helmet, does what it is meant to……just my views after wearing both Husqvarna and Stihl. Both get chucked after 4-5 years anyway if you value your head.
Radmore & Tucker, of course, were a pleasure to deal with.

Great helmet, nice smooth opening face guard, rain valance for your neck and a sun visor to clip externally to the face guard. The visibility is so good, I forgot it was closed a couple of times, great light transmission. The helmet has a quality feel. I would note, if you have a big head, be careful. Good luck finding how big it is for many helmets, this one expanded to 62cm, or 7 7/8 hat size. This just fits me, it has 2 pinch points at the rear mounts for head cradle, they press on my head, but once ear defenders are on ,this lessens. So if you have a large head, be aware and maybe try on somewhere of you’re able. Overall I would buy again.

First of all delivery was a lot quicker than I thought so top stars for that.
Helmet itself is very light and comfortable + fully adjustable.
The only thing minor issue was the visor mesh.
Pretty decent quality but the mesh spaces are bit too wide and lets a lot of dirt and sawdust through and wearing safety glasses on tight earmuffs not the most comfortable thing.
Not sure if there’s other mesh options for this helmet, but bar that pretty decent helmet.
