The STIHL ASA 140 cordless pruner allows you to comfortably cut branches up to 45 mm in diameter . This is made possible by the ergonomically designed, well-balanced soft-grip handle and the progressive cutting action – where the blade movement follows the finger movement on the operating lever. For ideal adaptation to different cutting tasks, the ASA 140 features two blade opening widths . This allows you to work faster, for example, when cutting many thinner branches. The easy-to-read OLED display of the ASA 140 cordless pruner provides an overview of the battery charge level, the selected blade opening width, the number of cuts, and any maintenance requirements.

The STIHL ASA 140 includes a carrying system with holster, a battery bag with connecting cable and ADVANCE X-Flex cable guide, a grinding stone, maintenance tools and a robust case with removable insert and storage net.

All battery-powered tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional use, even under adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they feature tested splash protection. The effectiveness of this protection is verified through rigorous internal testing. The splash test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard. The STIHL ASA 140 cordless pole pruner, with its splash protection already proven in internal tests, has been additionally certified to IPX4 protection class.

When used with the recommended AP 300 S battery, you can make around 9000 cuts on a full charge, which is around a day’s work.
