The BGA 60 is a powerful cordless blower for domestic users with medium-sized or large gardens. This leaf blower has a variable blowing force for adjusting the power when clearing. The BGA 60 also has 60% more blowing power compared to the BGA 57 when it is set to Boost mode. It also features a tool-free adjustable blower tube which can be extended by up to 16 cm – what’s more, the blower tube has a protective metal ring around the nozzle to prevent wear when the tube is accidentally bumped on the ground whilst clearing leaves. With a powerful EC engine, the BGA 60 is an optimal choice for home gardeners looking to clear large areas of leaves.

Plus, the BGA 60 is compatible with the STIHL Smart Connector and has a convenient slot for the connector to be mounted to.

Working time with recommended AK 30 battery is up to 16 minutes.

The BGA 60 is part of the AK System of tools, which includes grass trimmers, hedge trimmer, chainsaws and lawnmowers and uses interchangeable batteries that can be swapped between tools in the range.

    Good old Stihl another very good tool nice and quite and loads of power ..full power it blows the 20mm shingle off the drive lower power it just does the leaves excellent product it compliments the strummer and hedge cutter

    Excellent service from Radmore and Tucker. However, the courier they use DX Express is atrocious, I didn’t think anyone could be as bad as Evri, but they proved me wrong. Please use PDQ in the future. As for the Sthil BGA60, I am glad I went for this over the 57 just for the variable speed, so much more control. You will definitely need two batteries for a large area. I am still giving 5* overall despite the courier.

    I am so pleased with this blower. I’m used to the Stihl petrol blowers we use at work (grounds maintenance) but wanted a quieter one for home use and didn’t expect it to be as light and powerful as it is. It’s brilliant and I’m very impressed with its power.

    BG 60 blower did not disappoint. Very good tool at great price from Radmore and Tucker.
    Didn’t purchase battery as I have AK10 for hedge trimmer . AK10 does not give enough power to complete my garden in one go and have to charge to finish the job.
    I’ll see how it goes and may purchase another battery.
    I would recommend anyone buying it to purchase the larger battery if they’ve got a reasonable big garden with lots of trees.

    Really good service and as expected the BGA60 is a really good piece of kit. If you have a big area to clear you will probably need a spare battery as my AK20 didn’t do the whole lawn.

    The blower is very powerful and the variable speed facility is a useful facility.
    Although lighter than some other models it feels quite heavy when being used for long periods. Despite this I would recommend the blower especially if you already own a compatible battery.

    We already have a chainsaw, strimmer and hedge trimmer using 2xAK 20 batteries, so the BGA 60 was an obvious purchase. These mid-sized batteries provide over 10 minutes of working time, with careful management of the power trigger, which even in over large garden clears a days leaf fall.

    We are very pleased with his addition, and the resilience of the well used batteries

    Slightly disappointed as after I ordered I was told it was out of stock and there would be a delay, which turned out to be a couple of weeks (but it was over Christmas). Arrived OK in the end though and a good piece of kit. A bit larger than I expected but quite light and easy to handle and is also pleasantly quiet but has an incredibly powerful blow!

    My first Stihl purchase, on the recommendation of a pro gardener. BGA60 is well built and generates an impressive force. You’ll want the AK30 battery, probably more than one and a fast charger, unless you have a small garden. Happy customer.
