    My main reasons for getting this; it’s battery powered, really quiet and there’s no hand vibration.

    The vac assembles and disassembles easily. Everything connects with robust spring clips. The bag is easy to empty and seal/unseal.

    It’s a great machine for vacuum detailing flowerbeds and hard surfaces after an initial tidy up.

    Having used the SH85/86 2 stroke equivalents for over 20 years, I’m confident in saying the mulch system is slightly better on those in comparison to the SHA140.

    It’s definitely not a machine for mulching large amounts of leaves efficiently; you’ll find yourself emptying the bag in less than 15 seconds.

    It’s an excellent leaf sucker BUT it is heavy (at least for this 75 yr old) and the bag fills quickly. It also takes a bit of used to emptying. It does not clog up like the 2 stroke equivalent which I have but got frustrated with trying to connect the sucker pipe to the engine and was the reason why I bought the SHA140. The battery is expensive but lasts a long time.

    I purchased the SHA140 is an AP powered Vac shredder as a replacement for the vac function of my SHE71. It joined the other AP powered equipment that I’m accumulating.

    The SHA140 is a massive improvement in terms of design, ability to vac / shred without clogging (it has a blade). It’s simply to unclip open to clean/clear, remove bag for emptying leaves, etc. It’s just well designed and built. It’s fairly quiet and with a variable flow trigger, is better on battery than I had expected.

    If you’re wondering whether to replace your SHE71 with the SHA140 and a separate AP powered blower! You won’t regret it.

    Great suction, but shredding is useless and the bag fills up quickly. Either needs better shredding or a bigger bag..
