The HSA 150 T is designed for cutting ornamental or fine leaf hedges such as taxus, buxus or privet, and features a high blade speed and a single-sided cutting blade with 30 mm wide tooth spacing for where a particularly neat, accurate and sharp finish is needed. The high speed of the hedge trimmer doesn’t allow too much material to drop into the cutters and can be adjusted between 3,900, 4,500 or 5,000 rpm to best suit the topiary you are working on.
A battery slot in the tool means you don’t need to wear a battery on your belt or back when using the HSA 150 T. The design of the hedge trimmer has been optimised to offer the best ergonomics for you. When using the recommended AP 200 S battery you will have perfect balance, making use over long periods of time more comfortable. The HSA 150 T is IPX4 rated for water resistance, meaning it can be used in all adverse weather conditions. A rotating handle on the tool means you can tackle hedges of all shapes and sizes from all types of angles – and you can best suit the hedge trimmer to the top or side of the hedge you are cutting.
The HSA 150 T has an anti-jamming function so if the cutters get stuck on thicker branches then the tool will help release the jam. When you release the trigger and then pull it again, the blades will move in the opposite direction. A new gearbox system on the HSA 150 T works in perfect harmony with the EC motor to deliver an extremely high cutting force and quick acceleration to the required blade speed.
With the recommended AP 200 S battery you can get 90-140 minutes working time on a single charge. If you need longer, you can use the AP 300 S or AP 500 S batteries to extend the working time but be aware that this will increase the overall weight and affect the balance of the hedge trimmer.

I decided to switch to a battery powered trimmer and replaced my HS 86T with the HSA 150T. I’m glad I did. No more two stroke fumes to breathe or clothes smelling after the cut … day and night technology. A nicely balanced in the hand machine. I removed the cutting deflector to further minimise weight as I was not concerned about where cuttings landed. Using the AP200 battery I found electric run time was easily matching the petrol machine and in fact in my first job, significantly exceeding a full petrol tank in the HS 86T at mid 150T cutter speed setting. I conclude the Stihl HSA150 T is an excellent trimmer and value for money. Radmore&Tucker delivered unit to schedule. Very pleased with this purchase. Happy customer.
