Makita DUH502Z 18V LXT Cordless Brushless Hedge Trimmer

This compact and lightweight cordless hedge trimmer has a 500mm cutting blade and is powered by an 18v Li-ion LXT slide-type battery. It is fitted with a brushless motor, has a soft start and a 3 speed plus trigger for optimum control. Constant speed control maintains steady speed under load, to deliver up to 4,400 spm for faster cutting. The DUH502RT has a 5 position rotating rear handle and a double-action switch for increased operator safety. A battery protection circuit protects the battery from damage due to over-discharge, overload current and over-heating.

The Makita DUH502Z features a reverse rotation button to free the blade if jammed by thick branches, and blade tip guard to protect the blade from unnecessary wear. Triple edged cutting teeth catch and firmly hold branches with curved blades to reduce friction resistance and suppress energy loss for increasing run time.
