    Only bought it as a leaf collector so can’t comment on leaf blower function but can’t recommend it highly enough as a collector. Quiet, powerful and easy to unload. After going through so many inferior products, stihl deliver yet again. What a wait but well worth it. Bring on Autumn.

    Great service from Radmore and Tucker and the best price that I could find. Both the blower and the vacuum both work as advertised. I’ve got a large garden with a number of trees including a sycamore tree in it and the SHA 56 does exactly what it says on the label. The run time of 25 minutes does necessitate a second battery but a pretty rapid recharge means that I can keep the garden looking pristine. The compost heap is also benefiting from a good amount of finely chopped leaf mould.

    Impressive, well made piece of kit. Suction power more than sufficient to pick up monkey puzzle tree seeds in addition to leaves and bird feathers. Blower excellent and controllable. I have bought a gutter cleaning kit, elsewhere, which allows blower to clear debris. Very happy purchaser.

    This blower/vacuum is great for our plot. The bundled AK20 battery lasts well in either mode. The shredder part is robust but not the best shredder on the planet. That said, if you’re serious about shredding you’re not going to be relying on it in any event, so think of it as a freebie!

    Already have the petrol version of Stihl garden vac/blower and was slightly concerned the battery version would be under powered. However this is not the case the SHA56 is very effective and much lighter than the motorised version. Very impressed with the leaf collection capabilities and similarly with it as a leaf blower. Typical Stihl high build quality and easy to operate. R&T are a pleasure to do business with.

    Been looking at this machine for a few months and decided to take the plunge after seeing the very competitive R & T price. I already have a Stihl petrol blower/shredder. I wanted something I could have up and running in seconds for shortish clean ups as opposed to setting up the petrol machine for longer jobs.
    Quick delivery as usual and a rapid response from customer service re a delivery query.
    Quick set up from box and used on jobs asap. Found the machine operated very successfully shredding leaves efficiently, even one or two that were not bone dry. The supplied collection bag is sturdy with a decent capacity. I did get a little blockage but as promised that was very easily cleared.

    I had been looking to purchase a leaf blower/vacuum and decided on a Stihl. Two companies offered a good price, so being “old school” I rang them to double check that they had them in stock and that they were genuine retailers.
    First I phoned Sam Turner, as I live only 20miles away, unfortunately to no avail, no one even bothered to answer the phone! Secondly I phoned Radmore & Tucker a nice chap answered and confirmed that the model was in stock and confirmed the price. (£105 cheaper than Screwfix!)
    I decided to order the leaf blower from Radmore and Tucker with their free standard delivery. To my amazement the blower was delivered the next day less than 24 hours after I ordered it!!! Fantastic service. I have no hesitation in recommending this six star company. The Stihl blower is fantastic machine, light, powerful with no vibration.

    I am very pleased with the purchase and although the shredder has not been used so far, the blower is very good and adequate for our domestic requirements. It’s quiet compared to a petrol blower and has no vibration. I’m a little surprised the battery has a relatively short time span but that may improve as we get used to the machine and don’t use full power all the time!
    Delivery from Radmore and Tucker was excellent (two days after ordering) and the AK battery is suitable for lots of other domestic equipment. It also charges through the charger we have for an AP battery.

    Can’t fault the delivery or cost. The unit certainly seems sturdy and is very powerful – I’ve been running off AK30 batteries and you get a decent amount of time with each. The blower is going to take some practice to whisk leaves into a decent heap – it is very powerful and although the trigger varies the ‘puff’ initially I am just blowing the leaves everywhere. A rake still seems quicker. The vacuum is the most satisfying thing on the planet – ‘whoof’ and up they go. I did find with conker leaves that it wasn’t keen on the big stalk they came with and you have to take it apart to clean it out. Not difficult, but you have to remove the bag before you can remove the tube and that just adds a little effort esp. if the bag is already full. The bag gets full quickly because it is picking up so much and it’s doesn’t completely shred the leaves, but it gives them a decent ‘tear up’. I am going to try and dry the bag off before storing after each use as I think it might not last long if it is stored damp – currently it’s inside out and pegged up in a outdoor shed. The unit has Stihls usual build quality and for just over £200 seems a value for money and completely useable purchase and I would recommend it. I am a lady user of 5’7″ in her mid fifties and used it with the shoulder strap without issue.

    I’m looking forward to using all the leaf mould that I’ll be making with the shredded leaves. My hot composter will also benefit from the shredded leaves to balance out the green waste and uncooked food waste.
