My second cordless (battery) Husqvarna garden tool. I only have one battery (BLi200) and that fits both of the tools I currently have. I really like the 315IC Trimmer, it’s quite different to use compared to a petrol strimmer and it does take some getting used to. The trigger doesn’t work quite in the same way as a petrol unit – you have to be very gentle to start at a slow speed (at first I thought the trigger was just on and off!), and if you want to reduce the speed it is hard to judge how much or little you are meant to reduce the pressure by (in fairness I think this is a electric motor thing and nothing to do with the device). The noise produced is significantly lower and I don’t smell of 2 stroke fumes after using it. I even use the Eco mode when a slower, less destructive speed is required. Am I happy with it? Yes! – I’m currently working my way towards my next Husqvarna cordless purchase.
