The Husqvarna 122HD60 Petrol Hedge Trimmer is a powerful, lightweight and compact machine designed for domestic use. Smart Start Function

Great piece of kit! – lightweight and user friendly. If you follow instructions and use choke correctly starting is virtually effortless – I did a large run of over grown conifers and did them in half the time it took with my old trimmer.
The noise levels and vibration when using this trimmer is almost like that of an electric trimmer but with far more power and cutting force – although more intended at lighter garden use the Husqvarna 122H holds it own against some of the higher range Sthil trimmers I have used in the past – Brilliant!

The second recent order placed with Radmore and Tucker, this hedge trimmer replaces a 15 year old unbranded job bought from a DIY store, a poor decision then, compounded every year I kept it.
The difference far exceeds my expectations. This machine is head and shoulders above others I’ve used including a slightly older and much heavier Stihl. The Husqvarna has excellent power to weight with good gearing so if the revs are kept up it will power through thick hedge with ease. Blade quality is excellent and the rotating rear handle a real bonus for big hedges.
Starting is very easy, absolutely no problem as long as it is allowed to warm up. May be that my machine is still running in but it needs a minute idling to warm up after a cold start before it will rev cleanly and power the blade normally. This seems typical of modern 2 strokes and I expect will improve with use.
The service from R&T was excellent as before and only confirms my previous feelings, they will be getting my business again.

Very good value for money, excellent tool. Compared to my Ryobi trimmer which has a larger engine though same size bar, it is lighter, produces less noise and vibration, seems more powerful and energy efficient even though it has a smaller engine.
Starting is easy and requires less effort. Though the operation manual is large, only a few pages are in English. It could be more helpful for using and maintaining this equipment.
The trimmer arrived on time, I would differently recommend anyone to purchase Husqvarna, and from Radmore & Tucker.

Superb bit of kit and the variable power handle position is a real advantage as you don’t find yourself twisting and turning to retain a firm grip. It made short work of a lengthy Beech hedge with a sharp cut and no worrying itself through the thicker stems of 1cm+, just straight through with a neat cut. Its easy to start and even running at higher speeds isn’t uncomfortably noisy like older trimmers.
