The product is as described and performs as expected. However, my experience with Radmore and Tucker is not so good. One of the reasons I chose to go with Makita is I already am invested in its 18v system batteries. Makita were offering a free battery with this item if purchased in June. I duly purchased my strimmer on 29th June and waited……and waited. The item finally arrived on the 11th July. I then made my claim to Makita but as the date on the invoice was 10th July, this being the date it was sent to me, it was rejected. I made multiple calls to Radmores to provide with with an invoice for the actual date of purchase, a simple thing you would imagine. Each time I was promised a return call which never once materialised. Ultimately Makita have honoured their promise as I managed to prove via Paypal when the transaction took place. Returning calls to customers is a basic and fundamental part of the sales process, it engenders engagement and trust. Sadly, Radmore and Tucker have failed me on all counts, I will probably be spending my hard earned elsewhere in the future.
