This Makita DUN461WZ hedge cutter/trimmer is powered by an 18V Li-ion LXT slide-type battery and features an angle-adjustable head that moves 60 degrees up and 75 degrees down from a horizontal position. There are 10 different angle settings and this can easily be adjusted at the push of a button.

The shaft on the DUN461WZ can be fully adjusted thanks to the telescopic pipe, and the lock level enables easy adjustment of the pole extension with no tools needed. For personal fit and comfort, the slide-type front grip position can be adjusted for the utmost working efficiency regardless of the working posture adopted. If the blade becomes jammed by thick branches, users can make use of the reverse rotation system which frees them. Smooth and efficient trimming is possible thanks to the high cutting speed and this model produces little vibration or noise.

    Good value for money, especially if you have the batteries already.

    Trimmed my trees and bushes extremely quickly.

    Obviously the small blade width is somewhat limiting, but that hasn’t prevented me completing some extensive trimming jobs. NB. Usually need two batteries to complete all the work.

    Highly recommend.
