Ann Salmon (verified owner) –
As I had used the last coupler this box of five is meant to be an emergency supply, and as such I haven’t had to use it yet! If it is the same as last time it will get five stars as being a good piece of kit, and the price has come down too.
Clive Birch (verified owner) –
These couplers are very simple to use and the theory is good, no need for screwdriver and wire stripper to make a connection in a traditional connector block and the gel in these blocks should avoid corrosion with the block being pressed into the ground.
The only problem I have found in the first few weeks of installation is that it’s easy to get a poor connection so the top piece has to be pressed down really hard with a pair of pliers to make a good connection and therefore avoid “No loop signal detected” error massages from the automower. Keep the number of connector blocks to a minimum is my advice.
