Whilst the picture on the Radmore and Tucker site shows the FSA 130R with a brush cutter blade it in fact comes with the line trimmer and not with the metal blade. The line trimmer is fine for cutting grass but you do not need anything of this capacity to just cut grass. A metal blade is available as an extra but and can be bought anywhere. The FSA 130R is however offered at a very good price compared with elsewhere whilst it remains at 42% off. Don’t forget though that you still need a battery and holster to use the thing and also a charger if you don’t already have one. Uses the same battery as my hedge trimmer so I actually have three batteries which should be adequate for the jobs I have in mind. I have not tried using it with the metal blade as I need to complete a training course before being allowed out with it in public and there is no requirement for brush cutting in my garden.

Works as well as petrol strimmer, but much quieter and no vibration to speak of. Having the battery separate (I just use an old backpack – no need to buy the expensive Stihl pack, although you still need the holster) makes it very light to use. Thank you to Radmore & Tucker for sorting out delivery problems with DX over a Sunday – excellent service.
