The Makita UR201CZ brushcutter/strimmer is powered by a 36V brushless high power drive system using the Makita PDC01 or PDC1200 power packs (not included); up to four 18V Li-ion LXT slide-type batteries (not included) can be carried on the user’s back to enable longer run times when using the PDC01 and can deliver up to 7,000 rpm and 1,000 W maximum output.
The UR201CZ is equipped with a 43cm cutting diameter, loop type handle and rear end mounted motor for greater tool balance, soft start for smooth start-ups, electronic 3-speed selection for high, medium and low, constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load and an electric brake for increased operator safety.
Other features include Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) to shut down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down or suddenly stops and Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) that automatically changes the cutting speed according to the load condition.
This model can only be powered by the PDC01 or PDC1200 backpack power supplies.
