Haven’t used yet, but I’m sure it will do a great job when I put it to the test.

In common with all of the tube assemblies on the Makita this is a tight fit and it requires a reasonable amount of strength to attach. The quality of the item is fine and it does the intended job, the reason I’ve marked it down a couple of stars is because it’s very awkward to use. The Makita 2500 / 2501 is clearly designed to be used, primarily, as a blower. The handle faces in the direction of the blower tube as does the throttle trigger. Consequently, when using with the vacuum attachment everything is at right angles to where you’d want it to be. I’ve yet to find a comfortable way to hold and control the machine when using it as a vacuum. Doing so one handed seems to be the best option, but that’s tiring and offers limited control of where the vacuum tube is pointing. I can’t see any way it could be used left-handed. Locking the throttle trigger on doesn’t help either as it only gives about half throttle, which isn’t enough for most jobs. In conclusion, this kit adds some versatility to the blower and it’s fine for a bit of tidying up. However, the design isn’t well thought out and I wouldn’t want to use it for any prolonged period of time.

Kit as described and better design than the original
Collection bag pristine and almost a shame to use.
Prompt delivery to NI even with “Irish sea border issues”
    Hassle-free transaction
Will hopefully engage again with this firm

Arrived promptly as described and will easily replace my broken dust bag on my garden vac .
What I don’t understand is why do customers have to pay extra for the two connection plastic pipes when probably as in my case and most other cases there is nothing wrong with the originals? The dust bag on its own is only a small proportion of the total cost charged to customers!
