This was priced very competitively. Radmore & Tucker processed my order quickly and chucked in a free chain too. Very pleased! …..First time out, I cut up enough 4” firewood to fill the back of my Land Rover before the six amp battery ran out. I thought that was stunning performance. I was expecting this saw to be bit of a toy but it’s proved otherwise. Extremely light and easy to handle, it cuts well and allows for one handed operation (if treated with due caution and respect). I can see it replacing my lumpy old Stihl for most firewood cutting and pruning around the woods. One tip is to check the chain oil regularly as the tank is small and needs refilling more often than a standard chainsaw. That said, I think it’s a fantastic piece of kit and well worth the money, especially if you are lazy and getting on in years!

Great bit of kit ,very well priced and fast delivery as usual , and a free chain !
It can handle way more than I thought , let the chain do the work ,keep an eye on chain oil

Overall an excellent tool. Much more capable than I expected. Battery life is excellent. As somebody else has pointed out, the oil tank is small and needs checking frequently. If it is empty, the chain runs noticeably slower.
A couple of niggles, one minor and the other a pain. Literally. The minor one is the colour of the bar cover. Black must be the daftest choice other than full on camo. I have sprayed it fluorescent orange. The more annoying niggle is the safety lever. It is small and pointy. With prolonged use it becomes quite painful to keep it pressed down. Thicker gloves might help.

Fast delivery from Radmore & Tucker and as keen a price as any other on line dealer, but I fined the saw under powered, I have a lot of 18 volt cordless tools from Makita that is why I went for the tool only option as have 6 amp and 5 amp batteries and a couple of chargers. The other tools I have never cut out as this one does if slightly over loaded, drill’s impact wrenches, angle grinder reciprocating saw and many more, I have always been pleased with Makita for the price probably Hilti is the best but you do pay for them. So in my opinion it could do with a more power full motor, yes you can ease off so it does not cut out but the nature of the work cutting branches they tend to drop and jam the bar and chain.

I bought this to use for those little jobs where I dont really need my chainsaw. Don’t expect chainsaw performance and handling, you cannot cut with the same vigor as a petrol powered device. However I have cut through branches of 5 – 6 inch in diameter. The main issue (if there is one) is a spring loaded chain tensioner, if you jam the saw it is likely that you will have to open the saw up to free the drive. But if you use with a steady hand and apply reasonable pressure it works well, it is however not a low cost chain saw.
