1 review for Kress KG760E.9 60V Cordless Self-Propelled Lawn Mower 51cm

My lawn is about the the size of two tennis courts, undulating and 40% meadow grass. No point in stripes and rollers! I automatically focused on a petrol Stihl to match my other equipment and as R &T were about 40mins drive i went to see what they had. They did not have much on display but after a discussion about my requirements assembled a Stihl mower for me to see. All very helpful and decided to purchase.
However they introduced me to the idea of a cordless mower; Kress which was on display and despite being dubious about it fulfilling my needs I convinced myself that its ergonomics , ease of use and convenience and power would work. I am glad I did.
I have now had it for about two months and have used it initially to slowly reduce the length of the grass (rule of thirds) using the bag and the mulch function. Initially i needed both batteries to cover the lawn but now with regular cutting one and a half does the job. Obviously if you let the lawn get out of control it will consume more power and the battery will discharge more quickly. The variable speed allows me to control the cut and suit my pace. It takes about half an hour to charge the batteries on the double charger . The controls and the battery condition indicators are well thought out as is the handle adjustment and storage.
So definitely worth considering as more 60v mowers are now on the market
